History of This Wine
The Bodegas Terras Gauda O Rosal winery was founded in 1986 by the Alvarez family, who had been growing grapes in the Rias Baixas region of Spain for generations. The winery is located in the town of Cambados, which is known as the “capital” of Albariño wines. The winery produces a range of white wines made from Albariño grapes, including their flagship wine, O Rosal.
The first vintage of O Rosal was released in 1989 and has since become one of the most sought-after Albariño wines in Spain. It has won numerous awards over the years and has been praised for its freshness and complexity. In recent years, Bodegas Terras Gauda has also begun producing red wines from Mencía and other local varieties.
