The Louis Roederer Cristal Millesime Brut from Champagne is a vintage champagne that was first created in 1876 by Louis Roederer. It was originally created for Tsar Alexander II of Russia, who requested a special cuvée that would be bottled in clear glass so he could easily identify it. The wine quickly gained popularity and has become one of the most sought-after champagnes in the world.

Notable vintage years include 1976, 1985, 1990, 1995, 1996, 1998, 2002 and 2004. In 1985, the winery released its first vintage of Cristal Rosé. In 1996, the winery released its first vintage of Cristal Demi-Sec. In 2002 and 2004, the winery released its first vintages of Cristal Vintage Brut and Vintage Rosé respectively.

In recent years, Louis Roederer has continued to innovate with new releases such as the limited edition “Cristal White Gold” which was released in 2008 and “Cristal Silver” which was released in 2011. The winery also produces a range of other champagnes including Brut Premier and Blanc de Blancs.
