History of This Wine
Norton Classico is a red wine produced in Argentina's Mendoza region. It was first created in 1895 by Don Domingo and Doña Juana Villafañe, who planted the first vineyards of Malbec grapes in the area. Notable vintage years include 2004, 2006, 2008 and 2010. In 2004, Norton released its first vintage of Classico and it quickly became a favorite among wine enthusiasts. In 2006, Norton released its second vintage of Classico which was even more successful than the first. The 2008 vintage was also highly acclaimed for its intense aromas and flavors.
